The WAND

The WAND provides a new anesthetic injection system “that conquers fear, pain and anxiety”. Because the flow rate of the anesthetic given is controlled by a computer, the injection is assured to be slow at an undeviating pressure.

As shown in the picture below, a flow of anesthetic is provided directly ahead of the needle. It numbs the site of insertion and creates “a pathway of anesthesia” so that the patient will not feel the needles’ sting in any way.
